Shital Morjaria

I am a media professional and photographer based in Hyderabad, in South India. My work sits quietly at the intersection of routine and reflection, where a passing glance, a shadow on a wall, or a tangle of wires might become a photograph.

I don't chase the perfect frame. I follow light, stillness, fragments of the everyday. Most of my street images are taken in transit, from the car window, using nothing more than a phone. On the road, I travel light with a simple camera, a couple of lenses, and an openness to what unfolds.

Photography is not a separate act for me. It is woven into how I move through the world. I am drawn to places with character, to natural details that echo something internal, and to the stories that I can hear when I listen closely.

I also write. About images, about memory, about the quiet pull of the ordinary and about philosophical concepts that can be linked to photography practice. I like to explore what will remain once the moment passes.
